Thanks to her mother's guidance as a dance teacher and creator, Alex began training early in multiple dance forms, focused mostly in classical ballet. She attended the Alonzo King LINES Ballet School in San Francisco and studied Gaga technique in Tel Aviv. She has danced live and in film with artists of many genres including Kara Davis' project agora, BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance, the San Francisco Symphony, Columbia University, Fountain 3 Films, Bill Hayward, and others. The California native is the recipient of an Isadora Duncan award for Outstanding Performance in an Ensemble and loves teaching, creating, and collaborating throughout the community. Alex's work is inspired by the possibilities that arise from deep connection between a variety of artistic mediums and our human experience.
