burrow..down..to..dust..
“Lying in my heap of Earth, I can naturally dream of all sorts of things, even of an understanding with the beast…”
--Franz Kafka
A sound and movement collaboration with experimental composer, Louis Goldford, commissioned by Columbia University. Within the work, video tracking of live movement triggers algorithm-based sounds that add to the live musical composition. Narrative elements of the work take inspiration from the unfinished short story by Franz Kafka, The Burrow.
